*YOU SELECT and SUPPLY THE MEDIUM YOU WOULD LIKE TO LEARN
* REQUIREMENTS: Bring in your reference image and all required art supplies
MEDIUM: Open Media Art Class
At minimum, purchase a basic professional grade art
set in your medium of choice.
WHEN: Every Thursday
TIME: 9:00 am to Noon
COST: $25.00 per day if purchased by the month

Oriental BRUSH PAINTING
$25.00 plus supplies

In each class you will create several pages of reference and a final
painting You will learn the fun side of Chinese Brush Painting. No
previous painting or art experience necessary. You will use color
and ink in each class. Final project size is your decision, be sure it
fits within a standard mat.

• Chinese watercolors
• Grinding stone
• Sumi-e bamboo brushes - large, medium, small

GOALS--Learn how to handle supplies and find out which tools best suit your needs.
Begin to learn the properties of encaustic medium and tools
Become proficient and confident in handling Encaustic medium and tools Develop your Creativity
SUPPLY LIST:
While basic class needs are supplied you can individualize your experience by bringing in a few of your favorite things ¬*note, we may not get to it all! :)
Stencils, rubber stamps with ink pad; black and white printout for image transfer, small photo images or bits of lace or string that might be imbedded into the wax....

The class is perfect for the novice to the experienced ... it is creative and very enjoyable!
And with the small student/teacher ratio, you get a lot of one on one instruction.
